Archers is pleased to have participated in the third edition of the Fès Restructuring Days, held on 8 and 9 May 2025 at the Euromed University of Fès (UEMF), in partnership with University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
This international conference, now firmly established within the Moroccan legal landscape, has become a flagship event for discussions on the treatment of distressed companies across Africa and Europe. It brought together over 250 high-level participants – judges, lawyers, academics, practitioners, and business leaders – for substantive debates, practical workshops, and experience sharing.
Archers was represented by Fabrice Patrizio and Clément Phalippou, lawyers specialising in restructuring, who contributed to discussions on key issues such as:
- Cross-border restructuring and judicial cooperation
- Harmonisation of insolvency proceedings between Africa and Europe
- The role of legal practitioners in preventing and managing corporate crises
The Moroccan press widely reported on the event’s success, praising the quality of the speakers and the relevance of the discussions in a shifting economic context.
Through its participation, Archers reaffirms its commitment to international dialogue on corporate restructuring and its ambition to extend its expertise beyond French borders.
